Earth Day

Our team was thrilled to return to the Los Angeles County Sanitation District’s Earth Day event! This year, we had the opportunity to connect with 2,000 attendees. This year, we shared a microscope and net specimen that showed what grows on nets when they are left in the water for long periods of time. In addition to the microscope, we offered a simulated net lift, a dress a diver activity, and various informational materials.

We connected with a lot of community members and saw a few familiar faces! A few of our team members stopped by to show their support as well. We also enjoyed connecting with other organizations attending the event and their work and our shared goals. It is always fun for us to connect with the community and other organizations doing similar work. It is through these connections that we can spread our message and raise awareness of our cause, but also create meaningful relationships to help further the cause of protecting the environment.

We would like to say a big thank you to the Los Angeles County Sanitation District for inviting us back for this year and for providing us a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community!
